Anyone have any plans? I have handed this over to my supply for the next half term and as she has only been used to working from QCQ is a bit stuck. Seems a great topic to be doing and links well to Science - Forces and Movement and D+T vehicles.

We looked at history of cars bikes and planes. We suscribe to www.learnpremium.co.uk they have good stuff for use on smartboard. we got 4 pictures of each bikes/cars and the children made a timeline. We also looked at Amy Johnson and children sequenced story about her.

    Hi sparkles28,

I've just been reading through these posts as I'm doing a topic on transport with a primary 1 and 2 class.  I realise a few years have passed but if you are still willing to share your ideas I'd love to have a look.

    Kind regards,

    Grace

I've just done this topic - we also did the Wright brothers and steam trains. There is a Tom and Jerry episode about the Wright Brothers which the kids really enjoyed. Also look up the George Stephenson resources from Beamish - they have got a whole unit of work including Smart Notebook files and worksheets which you can download for free.
