     Right... enough.

If celticqueen says she did not contact tes then it's almost certainly the case that she did not.

Rose, it was me who contacted TES regarding the fact that you have certain targets you tend to pop up on threads just to make snide comments.  I contacted them along the lines of "couldn't you have a word with....".  It did not occur to me that you would be banned for it.

As soon as your 'deleted' posts appeared I contacted tes (and I was online at the time so did so immediately) to say that I hadn't asked for a ban.

I used always to state that I'd contacted the mods - but the witchhunts put me off (both reporting and stating that I have).

You are aware that I have a long standing issue, having been a previous target, with this habit of yours so you'll not be too taken aback to know that I got fed up seeing yet another person being got at in this way.

The vast majority of posters believe you to be an excellent poster who doesn't step out of line but for the few posters you don't like it can be quite different.  The threads and posts in praise of you by the trolls illustrates that too well (you share their targets).

I realise that I'm now going to have to put up with the repurcussions of making you aware that it was me but I'd prefer that to seeing celticqueen taking the blame.  I considered taking the rather cowardly approach and pming you (letting you choose whether or not to make it public) but this way it's here for all to see.

Had you been permanently banned I most certainly would have made my objections clear in public yesterday but I was made aware that it was for 24 hours which is something I have experienced myself but was fortunate enough to not to have been posting at the time and chose not to make public either (this is the first time I've mentioned it on tes although some other posters were aware).

I apologise to you that you were banned for the day and to celticqueen for the fact that she has taken the flak for it.  I was out at meetings until mid evening last night and would have posted in this vein had I seen direct accusations then - I suspect that they were made but pulled by the time I got in.

I am quite with my rights after the *performances* of various days to post this for information.

You are entitled to your opinion. Do forgive me, if I take no notice of it.

I shall rephrase - annoyance has made me fat-fingered.

I am perfectly within my rights, to post this up for general information. Not everyone visits the Personal forum.

Similarly, YOU are perfectly within your rights to express your opinion of my action. Your opinion, however, is one with which I cannot agree.

    Whose performances, rose?

Yours in targeting certain posters for snide comments?

Yours for posting comments about another poster which were subsequently pulled?

Yours for accusing someone you assumed had reported said comments?

You saw that you had plenty of support yesterday, you should appreciate that.  You also had the support of various trolls - that ought to make you think.
