Has any one heard of this being done? I understand from the ceop site that mobiles with inbuilt filtering are available. I recently bought a mobile for my ten year old at one of the large phone stores on the high street and asked the same question - but they'd never heard of such a thing ! I can advise parents about safeguarding kids using computers, but I'm at a loss when it comes to mobile devices. Can any one help? Is there a filtering/monitoring solution out there?

Thought I'd try applying what I do with my router to my sons phone (Fix the DNS settings to go via the opendns name servers) - and it works, sort of. He could always change the settings back if he knew how. I imagine all the mobiles will be different so you'll need to fiddle about if you want to try it. On a Sony Ericsson you can get at the DNS settings in settings>connectivity>data comms>edit
