Had great first day and loved getting to know children but am shattered and didn't even have to plan as not teaching curriculum until next week! I am thinking it might actually be easier once I start getting more structure into the day next week. "Getting to know you" activities are exhausting! Am I just kidding myself?!

I would be inclined to say you are kidding yourself! 4 years in and it still doesn't get easier. I have been no use to anyone since I got home and can't even get my brain to function enough to eat anything.

Welcome to an incredibly tiring, incredibly demanding job! Smile

It doesn't even get easier as you get higher up the "food chain" I have spent hourse today trouble shooting...

And then got home to plan the first month of shared KS5 lessons for my 3 NQT's... now it is time for my planning.

I've really enjoyed it! At the moment I've found the timings perfect, but I haven't had a full day yet. Tuesday will be my test! If I'm still alive by next Thursday then I think I'll be okay.
