Hello, I am just wondering if anybody knows the answer to this or does it purely depend upon class size (the pysical classroom, I mean.) Thank you x

The most I had in a class was 38 boys in a secondary modern boys' school in 1978. A bloody nightmare!

Why is there no limit in England? Are the English too docile to stick up for themselves?

Don't know but there isn't! Biggest class I ever taught, was 39 year 5/6s in a modern classroom, designed by an architect who thought that no class was bigger than 20. We had to stagger movement around the classroom. The joy!
