I did my PGCE with them. The interview felt very infornal to me, which put me at ease. There weren't any written tasks, but expect to be quizzed regarding up-to-date knowledge in Education particularly the 14-19 age group and various pathways to learning e.g. apprenticeships, diplomas, A levels. Also the extended learning project aimed a college.6th form students in preparation for Higher ed. Although you will have your specialism, remember to show your passion for all aspects of the social sciences.... sociology, psychology, health & social care, society, health and development diploma, because you never know you might end up teaching one of them beside your specialism. Ultimately, don't forget about Citizenship and maybe think about why this subject is important in a contemporary education system. Hope this helps CMG
