I declare a game of Mornington Crescent.

Turners rules apply which means vertical hyperturns are allowed.

    Starting with...

    Elephant & Castle.

    Excellent idea craftyangel.

A south of the river opening gambit... very interesting.

    In that case I'll go:

    Canning Town.

Yes, a splendid idea, but do you realise that your variation means that in two moves after crossing the river the game will inevitably end? So, to keep it going now,

    New Cross

    Oh well played gossypion.

In that case I have no choice, Kew Gardens.

    Southfields

That should extend it quite a bit.

Very cunning, the old ones are often the best.

     White City.

Oh dear! There's no alternative now to

    Mornington Crescent.

    --------------------------------------------

The problem that I foresaw in post #3 could have been averted by declaring The Drain open only in the City direction. If that is acceptable, I should like to begin (topically) at

    Wimbledon

Oh damn, you snuck in there! Well done.

Ok, from Wimbledon I go.... Baker Street.

Tricky, eh? I'll be generous and give you plenty of scope by going to

    Alperton
