Freddie92: Difference is that CTs have paid money out of their own pocket to do the scheme. Conserved PTs were appointed (some without an interview back in the good old days). Your right, and I'm sure there will be some mechanism to ge the money back that's been paid out. (or maybe just the additional pay recieved will suffice) I have no doubt that plenty of CTs do good work (sorry to burst your bubble jonowen) but its difficult to argue against some of the points in the report make in terms of this area. Seems like CTs will have to apply for temp PT post within the school an opportunity every teacher will be able to grasp.No doubt the additional study undertaken by CTs will give them an advantage (or at least it should) Remember these are just recommendations right now, still a long way to go.
