I have an initerview for permanent supply in Glasgow on Monday. Cant believe I have an interview for a perm job. Very pleased.

Just wondered if anyone else had one or if anyone has any ideas what may be asked - I have never had a Glasgow interview or worked there.

    Thanks

    Hi Jules!

I've got an interview on Monday for Glasgow permanent supply too. What time is yours? Is it in a school or at a central office?

I'm not sure what they might ask so I'm just preparing for all eventualities lol. I'm feeling pleased but nervous, I hope I'm not too nervous on Monday morning!

I also have an interview tomorrow, any idea of the questions I may get asked? The time slot is only 15 minutes long. Is this for 'permanent' supply? Do we gain employment rights?

    Hi Ava,

Have they already told you that you havent been successful? I am still waiting to hear but am gathering if I havent heard -that I havent got it!

Did they phone you at school?

The head teacher who interviewed me told me that there are ten panels across glasgow interviewing ten candidates each.  So out of 100 only ten will be successful.  The successful people would be told that day (yesterday) and if you didn't hear you weren't successful but could phone for feedback today.

I knew my interview didn't go the best, especially the question about school ethos! But hey ho, back on the supply trail again!!!!

I know the feeling. Same in South Lanarkshire Council. Had interview for permanent supply post but didn't get it.

Onwards and upwards as they say.
