what is this about an education authority still paying full pay even for the first 5 days due to a 'computer glitch'? I've only just heard this has been happening and would love to know where it is happening so I can get packed up tonight and move there quick!

The glasgow council is not the only one paying full rates as Michael Russell admits, "Some local authorities have not implemented the change". in parliament debate on 8th of dec 2011

Let's hope 2012 is the year of the glitch for supply staff!

Time for LAs to get everyone on their full rate asap ... and end this demeaning and unprofessional farce!
