We are a 2 to 13 independent prep school.  We have 1 head, 2 x deputies (one pastoral one academic), head of pre-prep and bursar on the SMT.

I am also paid on the leadership scale and am head of my subject and also in charge of timetables and data.

Thanks for the contributions so far. It seems that the 'triangular/pyramid' shape is quite common these days. Any pros and cons to this format? Do you have permanent AHT positions in all posts? I ask this as I'm aware that some schools have some fixed term AHT posts and projects on the go.

But what are these DHTs and AHTs focused on, also does anyone have SLT attached to each year group/house or each key stage?
