Like the secret target word game, except the target isn't secret and there are two teams with rival target subjects.

You are in team A if your name begins a-i, otherwise team A.

For this game, team A score on 2 word travel phrase e.g. "evening flight", team B score on musiv phrases = e.g. "opening bar".

I will not play, but be umpire, and explain any other rules as we go along.

    opening phrase is:

    blue moon

    I'll start for team B.

    blue cheese

is 'blue cheese' a music phrase?

*I'm all for trying a new game btw, just never heard of this as a music phrase*

    * I'm in the same group as nightscented based on initial . . . . do we need to wait for someone from the other group to answer before we can then respond?*

and get a point because it's a song?

No you don't have to take it in team turns, but the same poster can't post twice in a rrow.

Proper nouns and song titles, company names etc count . Nor does anything with the word "travel" or "music" in it.

I was thinking of "cheesy song" BTW from blue cheese for team B to score on ...

I think I better play for team A after all , seeing as business is slow

    velvet curtains

    Velvet Underground

I think it should be allowed but you said names don't count so there we go - nil point CryingDisappointedCryingDisappointed

It's soooooo unfair really. Things never go my way. Why me???????? Why my team??????? We never win. It's always the other team.

I'm very sorry Gel, but rules are rules. I think there are too many band and song names about so it wouldn;t be fair in this particular game.

    Underground station

1 point to team A !! Party Party Party

Note that  "underground" and "station" can't be used by team A any more to score with.

I can only think of travel phrases from underground station. I agree, SG, it's not fair, we never win...
