Ok, so I do SW..cooked these 2 dishes just out of curiosity...they did not taste half as bad as they sounded, if fact they have become a regular in my house.

    Diet coke chicken

    and

Mushy pea curry (not on the same plate)

    Ok, here they are:

    Diet coke chicken

fry light chicken strips and sliced onion. When almost cooked

add 6 tbs passata and i can DIET coke,

add 1 tsp chinese 5 spice, boil and simmer till sauce thickens and caramalises.

Tastes exactly the same as BBQ chicken. Serve with crispy salad, rice or jacket spuds.

    Mushy pea curry

Fry light sliced onion and garlic.

Add 1 tin of chopped tomatoes. 1 tin mushy peas and 1 tin baked beans.

Boil and simmer till warmed through.

Tastes and looks like chip shop curry and full of super speed foods.

    ENJOY..Wink

No spices in that curry?  It's just a stew, surely?

baked beans and mushy peas are free on SW, thats why the plan is so flexible.and super speed foods, (  i have lost 4.5 stones)

OOPS,, sorry. I missed out the curry powder, i used Madras, as I like my curry hot..just add it it last, or to the onions and garlic in the beginning, doesnt really matter.

In the Philippines they sometimes baste spit-roast pig with coke.  I must say,  It works very well to produce a good-coloured and crispy skin.
