Do you use Office 2007? Did you know you had something called OneNote?

I can see it sitting there on my toolbar (it has a grey N as its icon), I have no idea what it's for, it just came along with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

I would love to know if anyone does ever use this. And if so, what for.

Does anyone think it is an essential element of their Office suite?

(I'm not really expecting this thread to run and run, but I'd like to know it is being used)

OneNote is a note taking software which you can mindmap and build an entire database on.

I haven't used it but I have seen examples where authors use them to keep track of stories.

You be very careful which icons you click on, Ian...I've seen the trouble you can get into just switching a computer on.  :¬))

Too late Baubs, I bravely took one click, stayed half a min, then jumped out again.

So, so far we have one reply: 'no, but I know someone who does'

and another: 'me neither, but you could look it up if you can be bothered'  (my interpretation)
