The Reading Classical Latin course roughly equates to a GCSE and the second level course roughly to AS Level. A PGCE place for Classics would normally be awarded for a minimum of AS Level, so in theory, you should be alright. Most schools would expect you to teach Latin at A-Level in order to hire you.
Hope that helps.
Thanks Rachel. It does help.
You could just do what I am doing - set up your own department in school next academic year
