  • post reply

    Hi all,

does anyone happen to have some good exam resource material for the exam questions on 'Pride and Prejudice'.

Or what would be fab is any exemplar material/ model essay answers.

I've tried the AQA website and they do not have any.

Write your own? If you write a full marks essay, a good Grade C one and a lower or in-between, depending on the ability of the class, that would be enough for them to assess and use as models for different questions. Now we're so close to the exam, my class are just writing timed essays and paragraphs, but when I taught the novels, I just wrote examples. I always mean to save some good ones from the class to use in following years but never remember to do it until the following year when I find myself writing another lot. That said, I find classes like the idea that you've bothered to write them and it's also an opportunity to model good planning under timed conditions.
