We're so excited! The first event ever online digital Spellathon championship took place last week. 38,000 people registered to play Spellathon so far. The Hive in Worcester hosted a live Spellathon competition for local schools on 22 May which included with other activities such as storytelling and a bee treasure hunt. The children loved it! It was great to see Spellathon in action!

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey. We received great feedback, incorporated many of the suggestions and are delighted to announce that you can now pre register for Spellathon 2012/13.
This year the teachers are in control. We've simplied many features to make it easier for teachers to involve their school, rerecorded words and added more resources such as a misspelt words report. There is a fantastic £10,000 prize and this year it will be easier for schools to claim the 25% back of what they raise, if they wish to do so.
