I'm carrying out some research and would like to find out:

1

In which areas does your school seek out, or find hard to source, accredited (level 2 or higher) CPD or inset training for teaching staff ; and what is the motivation for such training (for example Ofsted/LEA improvement evidence, teaching and learning improvement, behaviour management, or non teaching paperwork such as risk assessment and/or ancillary)?

 2

What methods of training works best in your school (for example, open courses, courses for management to trickle-down, DVDs, online, in-house or other)?

3

Have you found any CPD blackspots - ie areas where there is nothing available to fulfil a training requirement?

I've posted this in a couple of forums, not to cross-post, but to seek out different views from different phases and personnel - ie SLT, Heads, and Primary/Secondary teaching staff.

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
