This is the place to go to talk about the challenges of teaching mixed age classes. The TES Mixed Age group is a great source of ideas, inspiration and advice and is the place to share best practice and get your questions answered by your peers.
I wonder if anyone could help...
I've got an interview for a F/Y1 class next week and need to do a 15 min presentation on 'How I would integrate the requirements of the Foundation Stage with the National Curriculum in a mixed age class'. I'm an NQT and I trained for Primary rather than early years, so don't have much Foundation knowledge (although have worked mostly in foundation and year 1 since I qualified, as a supply teacher).
I don't really know where to start with this!! Does anyone have any advice? All advice would be much appreciated, thank you!!
