I am thinking of applying for a new part time job. I am on UPS3. Some colleagues have suggested that I will be asked to be paid on MPS rather than UPS. Is this possible? I had assumed they would have to pay me where I am currently ie UPS3. Please help!
When new job adverts mention that a vacancy is Mainscale, it encompasses UPS too!
You cannot be downgraded on the payscale.
Mainscale in adverts simply signifies that it's not a Leadership post.
further to answer above, academies that do not abide by STPCD and indies can of course pay you what they wish
