I am trying to be a bit more creative with my approach to children’s independent tasks in topic and RE. I currently have lots of ideas for starters, discussions etc. but I worry that these and the independent tasks are always writing orientated. I would love ideas for children’s tasks that are more practical or don't require worksheets. Our recent ofsted suggested that the children needed to be more 'hands on' and the teachers needed to talk less. A reliance on worksheets seems to be a regular criticism from ofsted so I wondered if anybody had ideas for other activities which also provide afl. Thanks.
