Hello all, I wonder if anyone here could give me an answer to the following question.
If a student takes an exam early, y9 for example, do their results count in the year they sit the exam or the year they leave? For example if a y9 sits a G.C.S.E in 2010, do those results count in the league table results for 2010, or when they reach y11, 2012?
Thanks
The results count in the league tables of the year the student reaches the end of Key Stage 4.
In your example, a student taking a GCSE in the summer of 2010, when he/she is in Year 9, would count in the 2012 league tables (as he/she is part of the 'Class of 2012' when he/she leaves Year 11).
