Current Glasgow PGDE Students

Hi, could any current Glasgow PGDE students give me an idea of the timetable at uni. I've asked the uni if they have one for next year but it won't be available until May at the earliest. I just need a heads up so I can book after school care for my girls. Thanks, Nic

Hi, I'm also going to Glasgow for the PGDE. Are you primary? I'm currently at Glasgow Uni for my undergrad degree and I managed to sneak onto the PGDE online resources for the current PGDE course. I've found some timetables and it does look like it will vary week to week but the majority of the time the days will be 9am til 4pm. I'm sure that isn't the most helpful reply but thought I'd throw it in because I'd just literally been looking at the timetables this evening! Hopefully some current students will swoop in to clarify further :)

Hi, I'm currently on the Glasgow PGDE primary. Essentially its 9-4 . Tuesdays we don't start until 11. Wednesdays are often half days but not always. First term in particular is packed solid, but after that the timetable is subject to adjustment at a moments notice. They cancel stuff and add extra in. If you worried about childcare I think you need to  arrange full time .

Shesav, do you ever get Friday afternoons off? I'm no skiver but my fiancé is living in London next year and I will want to visit him at weekends, and the majority of flights are late afternoon/early evening. Just wondering if now and again Friday afternoons might be empty so I can potentially run off down South for a few days! Thanks
