Hi :) So, say I had a power point created in keynote, could I put a link in my lesson plan (on your app) to go straight through to the pp on the other app? Looking forward to looking at it soon :)

Hi, Ok I know what you mean. That's something we will look into for the first update for you :-) We will have the website up soon with video walkthroughs and various tutorials. We are still on track to submit it to Apple on the 29th.

Im very interested, i use keynote a lot in my lessons as i can use my iPhone to connect to my iPad and control it remotely. I got very good praise for this for being able to move more freely around the classroom.

Any applications that are useful for iPads that people know about would be great as well!

Thi application was submitted to Apple last night for approval. Website is in the final stages. Will post back with web link when ts up. The website will have some tutorial videos that you can watch to get an idea of how powerful the application is and how to get the most it of it.

    Hi,

I know this thread is about teacher planners, but there is an excellent one out there for students from www.app4school.co.uk. They customise it to your school as well. Our school has just agreed to go with this and stop the traditional paper student planners and we think we will save over £1000 each year because of it. As an ICT teacher I am all for using technology in schools and teaching students how to use them in the correct way/at the correct time.

Is it still called Teacher's Pet or have you changedt the name? As someone who just has an iPad I'm looking a planner APP to replace my paper one.

Before I spend a fiver on this app, can you confirm it is still being improved and updated? Of particular interest to me would be (as people have mentioned before): - a grade book function - the ability to link to other files /apps(e.g. Presentations) Also, it would be great if there was online integration, if the info could be backed up to a website from which I could make adjustments, etc. Is there a way to import class lists from excel (for example)? Also, we're using www.edmodo.com on our class iPads, and as a parental communication platform. Integration with this, and other homework sites such as www.samlearning.com, would put it head and shoulders above anything else. If it did all of this, I'd happily pay a fair amout for it!

Hi, Yes it is constantly being improved. We are currently preparing version 3.0 which will completely change the flow and look of the application. We are planning a grade book function but for a separate application that will incorporate a lot of other features. We really want to keep this app separate and purely focussed on one task. As part of this goal we don't have plans to integrate it with the websites you mention, however, the new application we are preparing may be more suitable for these websties features.

Hi, We have looked at these features but a lot of them, especially the website version however, these are only viable options on a commercial basis. We will begin looking over the next few months into the costs and requirements for this kind of solution. This is something we believe will be most viable as a bespoke version of the application sold on a school to school basis. If this is something that your school may be interested in then please do not hesitate to get in touch: support@watsonsapps.co.uk

Hi there, I have your app and like the overall look of it. Thinking of testing it out next year. Is there a way of viewing each class at a time rather than just each day? I would find it useful to be able to enter in information about a few lessons at a time for a particular group without having to scroll through each day to get to their next lesson. Thanks!

I would like to be able to do this too, also be able to change the font.

There is a brilliant app for data, students called Idoceo but no planner as yet!

On the teacher planner website it says they have a teacher organiser but I cannot find this in the app store? Anyone else got this? x

Is this still available? Each time I copy the link, an error message comes up in my iTunes saying that it isn't available in the US or the UK. I've searched online, too, but can't find how to download this app.
