The TES Secondary Group is a great source of support, ideas and inspiration and is the place to share best practice and get your questions answered by your peers. This is also where you go to debate the latest issues in secondary education.
Also applying for HOY jb, questions would be a HUGE help if you email them to me...

Hi there, I have followed the thread, I am also applying for HOY 7 job at my school. Could you possibly send me the questions also pls? my email address is medward82@gmail.com
Cheers
This drives me mad - no wonder there is a real problem of leadership and management in schools. You develop your vision and ideas first, you realise you're ready for the job... You don't just show naked ambition, go for any old post and hope that you can work it out later, and even ask for your application to be written by an online TES committe. *** pathetic. Truely pathetic.
Any chance you could e-mail the interview questions for HOY please.

Hi
I am going for the head of year 7, can you email me interview questions?
westy126@hotmail.com
This original posting is years old. One thing I would point out is if you cannot write your own application then perhaps you are not ready for the job. I have just applied for a Head of Year job in my school and I wrote it myself. I used the job spec to help me and what I have done and could offer the school.
I am waiting to find out if I am successful and am called for interview but if not at least I did the work myself.
I don`t want to come across as rude and unsupportive but think about why you want to apply and what you can offer.
I hope you are successful.

The OP didn't come back to share the good/ bad news ...
Is that the 'take, take, take' of naked ambition?
Maybe that's why they've not had internet access to let us know how they got on with their committee-generated letter of application...
I'd like to think that they all went for the same job . . . .
Asking for help and researching and preparing answers for possible interview questions is fine but if you can't write your own letter, well . . . .
Get over to jobseekers!
